Body for the Ages Nonprofit Presents:
Mission Statement
I. THE MISSION
The
mission of the Body for the Ages Nonprofit is to be
a social, fun, educational organization involving lifestyle,
longevity pursuits in general, and more specifically,
reducing and reversing heart risks. Additionally, the
focus will be on guaranteed weight loss, and building
a body of your dreams. The Board of Directors, and co-founder
Pax Beale, approved Body for the Ages Support Groups.
II. GOOD FAITH
EFFORT
Initially, all Board Members
and Officers are to receive no compensation, and their
volunteer time consignment can range from 10% to 50%.
This policy is expected to extend for a significant
period of time from the inception of the Body for the
Ages Nonprofit Corporation.
III.
PROFIT PROSPECTS
Each Chairperson of a Body for the Ages
Nonprofit Support Group can optionally create remuneration
for themselves in their role as a Founding Chairperson.
The following has been submitted
to the federal government, with minor updates, in support
of Body for the Ages Nonprofit status.
IV. BACKGROUND
Wellness,
longevity, and anti-aging techniques are the focus of
the Body for the Ages Nonprofit. The method of operation
is through Body for the Ages Support Groups, and a Speaker’s
Bureau, to project the Nonprofit’s core message.
Optionally, a Member can participate individually as
a Member of team Body for the Ages, and elect not to
be associated with one of the Support Groups.
Co-founder
Pax Beale learned so much from reversing his heart disease.
(Some call it a miracle.) Through the Body for the Ages
Support Groups, Pax created a platform to share the
information. Surprisingly, the focus immediately expanded
to longevity in general, because so much Pax learned
was applicable to anti-aging, weight loss/control, building
a body of your dreams, diabetes, obesity, depression,
stroke, enhanced libido (sex drive) and more!
Thus,
the evolution from heart focus to all longevity pursuits.
Co-founder Pax Beale’s success in reversing his heart
disease (he has patents and the medical records to prove
it), is the springboard to America’s #1 support group
for overall longevity.
America’s #1 killer is Heart disease. Collectively,
all heart risks kill almost 50% of the population in
the United States, and are greater than the sum total
of cancer, AIDS, Parkinson’s disease, and others combined.
While
Body for the Ages Nonprofit’s wellness research is vital,
even more “cutting edge” is Body for the Ages Nonprofit’s
ability to implement an actual Wellness Program. Education
is vital, but a failure, if it is not deployed. Body
for the Ages Nonprofit’s mission specifically includes
the commitment to foster actual participation in its
Wellness Program.
There
probably is no other disease where so much knowledge
is available and so little used. The main failing of
the health industry (and it’s flagrant) is that it’s
not unified into a synergistic force. Cardiologists,
kinesiologists, exercise physiologists, nutritionists,
pharmacologists, and motivating psychologists simply
don’t unite to deliver a unified message for a synergistic
effect to the public.
Remember,
co-founder Pax Beale owned and operated acute general
hospitals, a licensed wholesale pharmaceutical company,
a medical malpractice operation, and licensed medical
laboratories, so he has seen the lack of a synergistic
effect in the medical field for over 30 years. His mission,
like that of Body for the Ages Nonprofit, is to do something
about it…with your participation.
A
Harvard School of Public Health survey shows that a
synergistic effect outperforms to a substantial extent
(about 25%!) any one of the individual professions referenced.
V.
MODUS OPERANDI NUMBER ONE (ACTIVITIES)
Activities
include the establishing of volunteer social/fun oriented
Body for the Ages Nonprofit support groups throughout
the nation, which will meet monthly for informational
and camaraderie reasons. Monthly meetings typically
include a guest speaker aimed at educating the need
for support of a healthy lifestyle. Speakers can be
drawn from any of the professions listed above, as well
as those active in their communities, who demonstrate
longevity expertise.
While
the team Body for the Ages Nonprofit Support Groups
would operate under Rules of Order administratively,
the entertainment/educational messages of the meetings
may be informal.
The
initial target will be to pursue a healthy heart lifestyle,
involving the multiple steps of Delectable Basic Nutrition,
Scientific Nutritional Supplements, Prescription Method
of Training, and the Total Commitment Motivation, Wellness
Philosophy, needed to change a lifestyle for vital longevity.
Body
for the Ages Nonprofit Support Groups will be between
10 to 20 members in size.
Collectively,
as a group, they will seek discount rates from organizations
that provide exercise facilities, and sell nutritional
supplements and/or drugs, and other anti-aging support
products.
VI. MODUS OPERANDI NUMBER TWO (ACTIVITES)
Besides
the support group concept, Body for the Ages Nonprofit
has an additional method for implementing wellness program
support.
The
Body for the Ages Online Wellness Program is
a web based wellness program that includes two professionals
to serve the Member. The Member will relate to a personal
trainer. The Body for the Ages Online Wellness
Program‘s personal trainer will create a Prescription
Method of Training, Delectable Basic Nutrition Program,
and a Scientific Nutritional Supplement program, personalized
for the Body for the Ages Team Member. Even more exciting
is the availability of the Body for the Ages
Online Wellness Program’s mentoring Panel of
Experts. Their motivating influence will impact every
facet of your life.
The
Body for the Ages Online Wellness Program,
augments the detailed information in co-founder Pax
Beale’s book, Body for the Ages: From Heart Surgery
to Bodybuilding Champion.. The Body for the
Ages Online Wellness Program can be an extension
of the proposed creation of support groups, or it can
be freestanding.
Remember,
for those select few that qualify, the Body
for the Ages Online Wellness Program is available

VII. THE PHILOSOPHY
The general philosophy will be to deliver
the modalities that founder, U.S. patent holder Pax
Beale, used to reverse his heart disease, which are
applicable to longevity in general, including but not
limited to: The mind/body connection, drug discussions,
Scientific Nutritional Supplement recommendations, Prescription
Method of Training, Delectable Basic Nutrition, and
motivation based on co-founder Pax Beale’s Total Commitment
Motivational, Wellness Philosophy. Body for the Ages
Nonprofit seeks to enhance both your physical and fiscal
health. Once a team member of Body for the Ages masters
the vital components of their physical health, you will
be educated, and perhaps surprised, that the same Total
Commitment Motivational, Wellness Philosophy, can be
redirected towards fiscal health or wealth building.
All modalities would be strictly based
on complimentary medicine, taking into consideration
founder Pax Beale’s innovative and proven scientific
contributions, the best from the wellness community,
and accepting organized medicine’s longevity contributions.
Generally speaking, Body for the Ages seeks to maintain
health, and organized medicine is reserved for the sick!
However, there are exceptions.
VIII. THE AMAZING
NEED TO “JOIN”
While not a perfect analogy, the Body
for the Ages Nonprofit Support Groups will have much
in common with Alcoholics Anonymous, weight loss support
groups, and even an operating format like investment
club support groups.
Founders believe the key to a successful
lifestyle change is indisputably enhanced in a support
group. It’s true, a person with an “iron” constitution
can change their lifestyle, but they are by far in the
minority.
The concept of successful support groups
is based on the belief that people are “joiners”, be
it college fraternities, war veterans, Alcoholics Anonymous,
religious groups, and even the identity with a school
which a person has previously attended (favoring University
of California over Stanford, etc.). Yes…the urge to
be accepted is innate in all of us, and is even reflected
in what triggers terrorist groups and high school gangs.
While the end result of the groups varies tremendously,
the basic need to “belong” makes most of us joiners,
whatever the cause.
The Body for the Ages Nonprofit Support
Group concept will be successful because the majority
of us are “joiners”.
Joining creates camaraderie, camaraderie
creates action-oriented members, members create success,
and success yields self-esteem and vital longevity.
IX. CHAIRPERSON
CREATES THE ENVIRONMENT
Each
Body for the Ages Nonprofit Support Group will have
a Chairperson, who optionally may or may not be the
group’s President. The Chairperson will be oriented
to the above modalities. Some may even attend a continuing
education program to refine their knowledge and trade.
The
goal of the Body for the Ages Nonprofit Corporation
will be to create active team Body for the Ages Nonprofit
Support Groups for a lifestyle change, and in a second
activity of being involved in continuing educational
programs for member meetings. Continuing education may
be advanced at the Support Group’s monthly meetings
through guest speakers such as a wellness expert, cardiologist,
kinesiologist, exercise physiologist, nutritionist,
pharmacologist or psychologist, persons with success
stories, personal trainers, and transformational life-coaches…the
list is endless. Members will be encouraged to adhere
to a healthy, longevity-oriented lifestyle outside of
the actual monthly membership meeting. Meetings may
be more frequent than once a month, if desired.
The
mood of the monthly Body for the Ages Nonprofit Support
Group meetings, group participation in local exercise
facilities, and group functions involving proper eating
habits will be successful because the group will have
a social overtone. The intent is not a sterile classroom/workshop
environment. The Body for the Ages Nonprofit is a health
education venture, based on camaraderie with those interested
in longevity, liveliness, self-help, rejuvenation of
the body, a mind/body spirit, and self-esteem.
The
Body for the Ages Support Groups are independent, but
affiliated with the Body for the Ages Nonprofit. Coordination
of effort is through the Chairperson. Executive offices
are in an existing San Francisco, California building
at 1801 Bush Street. The building was once the site
of an acute general hospital. The building is a historic
building, on the tourist walking tours, and is ideal
as the seat of a nationally recognized home for Body
for the Ages longevity support groups. The facility
is built, in place, and is equipped. All are invited
for a tour. Out-of-towners are free as our guests at
the workout facilities, and all locals are eligible
for a complete free wellness/health assessment, a $150
value. Click to Body
for the Ages Health Center.
X. EXPECTED SOURCES
OF FUNDS
Funds
for the Body for the Ages Nonprofit Corporation will
be generated from fundraising and donations. This has
already been successfully commenced. Donations create
self-esteem with the donor…a proven researched fact.
XI.
NATURE OF EXPENSES
The nature of expenses of the Body for
the Ages Nonprofit would be similar to those of any
operating corporation delivering educational programs,
except the format is based on a fun, social environment
of camaraderie. Operating expenses include rent, telephone,
selected equipment purchases, a dietary kitchen, utilities,
insurance, accounting services, promotional educational
information to encourage the development of Body for
the Ages Nonprofit Support Groups, and staff. All of
the foregoing is in place, and is available through
existing donations of money or services.
The only initial expense would be the
promotional expense to orient prospective members to
join a Body for the Ages Nonprofit Support Group, and
part-time pay for one staff person (or a volunteer)
to promote sources of persons to form the support groups.
Example: Promotional material to be available through
a cardiologist’s office.
Uniquely, the staff will be comprised
of volunteers, and ultimately paid lay staff. The staff
will also be comprised of independent contracting professionals,
many of whom have already committed to donating their
services.
Expenses may also be accrued involving
fundraising event promotions, fundraising of all types,
guaranteed appearance fees at events where celebrities
don’t donate their services, and monies paid to fundraisers.
Simplicity of the operation is its attractiveness.
Everything is in place, and the Body for the Ages Nonprofit
Corporation will supply the energy and motivation
to coordinate the synergistic effect amongst these known
professions, and the equipment required to operate the
Body for the Ages Nonprofit Corporation.
XII. ORIGIN
Co-founder/motivational speaker Pax Beale
gave a speech on how he reversed his heart disease (not
applicable to all forms of heart disease), and persons
recipient of Pax’s message in his speech offered donations.
Some called Pax’s success a miracle, but in reality
it was the seed for America’s number one action-oriented
wellness program, for you who are visiting this website.
The donations are the seed capital to be the first organization
whose goal is to create, on a national basis, lifestyle
support groups for longevity and liveliness, based on
the synergistic effect of the collective force
of the professions referenced herein.
XIII. STATUS
The corporation will operate legally under
the applicable federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit statute,
and the counterpart State of California tax exempt statutes.
This allows donors to receive tax deductions for donations
with the IRS, and in the State of California, if you
are a California resident.
