NOTE: Repeatedly, a criticism of Ornish’s diets is that they are so severe that few can adhere to them. Pax says, “Who said life was easy? How can the difficulty of the diet be a hurdle in our anti-aging commitment? The Body for the Ages nutritional program is easier to adapt, but Ornish’s diets deserve an accolade for their innovative and successful approach.”

Seriously, if you wait until you have a heart problem, with one foot in the grave, and then have someone tell you Dr. Ornish's diet is too hard to follow, then there are two routes to follow.  Bite the bullet and do his alleged "difficult to do" diet, or die prematurely.  In the alternative, you could get the Body for the Ages Delectable Basic Nutrition Program early in life, and avoid someone having to tell you Dr. Ornish's diet(s) are hard to follow.  The Body for the Ages Nutritional Program is not hard to follow, but both the Dr. Ornish diet and the Body for the Ages Nutritional Program take commitment, and Total Commitment is Step Four of the Body for the Ages Wellness Philosophy.  Pardon the play on words, but there is no "free lunch," when it comes to nutrition to facilitate living your maximum genetic lifespan.
